I have no hero worship.
Lost that at 16.
Even the misfits,
folks who make me proud with
their fuck-it attitude:
musicians, comics, writers.
I can give a shit about them too.
No one impresses me
enough to be my hero.
The closest I get are grown ups
who pay their bills, are responsible
and love their life enough to
live it.
